On May 25th, the 39th general meeting and social gathering of Tondabayashi-Bethlehem Sister City Association were held in the Subaru (Pleiades) Hall.
From July 24th to August 14th, three exchange students of Tondabayashi city stayed with local families in Bethlehem.On September 28th, a briefing session after their return was held. The students announced their precious experience in Bethlehem.

Tondabayashi City and Bethlehem City, Pennsylvania, U.S. established a sister city relationship in 1964. In 2014, we celebrated the 50th anniversary.On October 26th, the commemoration ceremony was held in Bethlehem. During the ceremony, cherry trees were planted and the joint statement wassigned for further promoting friendly relations.
On November 16th, "the 43th English Oratorical Contest in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the sister city relationship" was held.Totally ninety from elementary students to general people participated in it. They made wonderful speeches in front of a large audience.
A new year get-together was held at "Aldebaran" in the Subaru (Pleiades) Hall, to promote mutual friendship. We had a happy time,as one of the members performed comic story telling.
